Anna Bowman is a theatre producer and performer from Nashville, TN, currently pursuing an MFA in Theatre Management & Producing at Columbia University. She is the Producing Assistant for Dale Franzen, Tony and Grammy award winning producer of Hadestown. In 2025, Bowman co-produced THE MALL THE MALL THE MALL under Twin Fruit Productions with The Tank. Her New York performance credits include staged readings for John Proctor is the Villain with Farm Theater and ALLY with Broomstick Theatre Company. Her collaborative performance hologram piece, One Trick Pony, was featured at the 2024 ArtFields Festival in Lake City, SC. In 2023, she worked with director Des McAnuff at the SC New Play Festival on The Essential Alice, written by Anne Weisman and Michael Friedman. Before moving to New York, Bowman spent several years as the Education Associate and Affiliate Director of Upstate South Carolina Wolf Trap at SC Children's Theatre, where she also performed in productions including The SpongeBob Musical and Wake Up, Brother Bear. She earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts and English from Furman University and trained in devised physical theatre at Double Edge Theatre.
